My Song
MY SONG è un progetto che utilizza la fotografia come punto di accesso a una ricerca sull’identità adolescenziale. Un percorso che intreccia immagini, ascolti musicali e scrittura per entrare nel quotidiano dei ragazzi e restituirne unicità e complessità, attraverso i linguaggi con cui costruiscono la propria visione del mondo.
Lo smartphone diventa uno strumento creativo per fotografare, osservare, avvicinarsi e creare relazioni. Attraverso esercizi, ascolti musicali, interviste e momenti di condivisione, i partecipanti esplorano se stessi e il mondo che li circonda.
Il processo è il cuore del progetto: un’indagine collettiva che prende forma in immagini, testi e playlist, fino a trasformarsi in un’installazione corale, un muro che si legge come una canzone, dove ogni contributo è una strofa e ogni partecipante una voce.
MY SONG uses photography as a gateway to exploring adolescent identity. Blending images, music listening, and writing, the project enters the everyday lives of young people, revealing their uniqueness and complexity through the languages they use to shape their understanding of the world.
The smartphone becomes a creative tool for photographing, observing, connecting, and building relationships. Through visual exercises, music sharing, interviews, and moments of collective reflection, participants explore themselves and the world around them.
The process is at the heart of the project: a collective investigation that unfolds through images, texts, and playlists, ultimately taking the form of a collaborative installation—a wall that can be read like a song, where each contribution becomes a verse and every participant a voice.
