Francesca Tilio was born in Jesi (Ancona, Italy) in 1975. She finds out the appeal of drama in her teens and gets involved in acting for years, untill the experience, as director and writer, of the multimedia show "About Tom Waits" (2007). From that moment on the suggestion of live performance by using images leads her to meet photography.
Her camera becomes the medium for new artistic and expressive opportunites: Francesca directs it to the search on women's soul and she works combining her theatre experience with the visual sensibility that she's been acquiring as a graphic designer (she works in advertising and communication since 1997, after having attended the "Experimental Design Center" of Ancona).
From 2008 on her works begin to be exposed in art exhibitions and published on some websites and on TV
